Building a temperature forecasting model for the city with the regression neural network (RNN)
Tran, Nguyen Phuc, Tran, Duy Thanh, Duong, Thi Thuy Nga
In recent years, a study by environmental organizations in the world and Vietnam shows that weather change is quite complex. global warming has become a serious problem in the modern world, which is a concern for scientists. last century, it was difficult to forecast the weather due to missing weather monitoring stations and technological limitations. this made it hard to collect data for building predictive models to make accurate simulations. in Vietnam, research on weather forecast models is a recent development, having only begun around 2000. along with advancements in computer science, mathematical models are being built and applied with machine learning techniques to create more accurate and reliable predictive models. this article will summarize the research and solutions for applying recurrent neural networks to forecast urban temperatures.

Big shortage of human resources for artificial intelligence
Viet Nam is facing a big shortage of human resources for artificial intelligence, said Nguyen Xuan Hoai, director of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Academy Viet Nam. Hoai said in the process of working with both private and state businesses and agencies, awareness and demand for AI application and data analysis was increasing due to the strong digital transformation revolution. However, when talking with enterprise leaders about difficulties encountered in the working process, experts always receive the answer that the shortage of human resources was among the top three difficulties, he said. The director of the AI Academy Viet Nam said that AI was gradually becoming an industry and a profession, so the difficulty in resources was a matter for the whole world. In particular, the shortage of human resources for artificial intelligence in Viet Nam was quite large, he said.
AI integration the inevitable path ahead
Many firms have begun to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) and the technology has enabled them to outperform their competitors, according to insiders. Pham Quang Vinh, Head of the Enterprise Solutions Division, Viettel Cyberspace Centre, made reference to an Accenture report in June to show that 60 per cent of finance and banking firms were engaging in AI and the technology earned them 50 per cent higher revenues than their rivals. "AI will become an official means of customer-firm interaction, especially for banks," he said. The head of the division also said 42 per cent of specialists working at firms are unaware of the risk that their firms would fall behind the curve shoud they fail to embark on AI. In fact, AI-enabled finance and banking firms have seen their revenues rise steadily since 2019.
VGP News
VGP – The first artificial intelligence (AI) research center in Viet Nam was officially launched on March 31 in Ha Noi. The center was founded under the model of a mixed international research center which is jointly invested and run by HUST and Naver Group from the Republic of Korea. It will assist with basic research studies on the creation of "Make-in-Viet Nam" technologies, and the application of AI in various sectors so as to speed up digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the Southeast Asian country. Prof. Dr. Ta Hai Tung, Director of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology under HUST was quoted as saying that in the long run, the AI Center will serve as a platform to connect domestic and international AI operators to deploy basic research. Initially, the center recruited over 50 scientists from the HUST and other experts from universities, institutes and technology groups in the areas related to AI and AI application under the lead of Professor Ho Tu Bao.
